Questions people actually ask

What's a token?

Tokens are how AI models count text — one token is roughly 4 characters of English. A typical prompt-and-response pair uses about 1,500 tokens, so 50,000/day works out to about 30 real prompts. The counter resets every day at midnight UTC.

What happens when I hit my daily limit on Free?

You can keep using the browser tool, view your projects, and deploy what you've built. New AI calls pause until midnight UTC — or until you upgrade to Pro for 40× the daily headroom.

Do I pay for AI model usage on top of this?

No. Model costs are included on every tier up to your daily cap. On Free that's up to $0.50/day in API spend; Pro covers $20/day, Team covers $50/seat/day. You never plug your own OpenAI or Anthropic key into IterateCode unless you want to.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Go to /account.html, click "Manage subscription," and cancel from the Stripe portal. You keep access until the end of the billing period.

What if my team needs more than 3 seats?

The $40/seat price scales linearly — 5 seats is $200/mo, 10 seats is $400/mo. For 25+ seats or SSO/DPA requirements, contact us.

Is my code private?

Yes. Your projects are yours. We don't train models on your code, and Pro/Team plans get an enterprise-grade DPA on request. See the privacy policy.

Do you offer a free trial of Pro?

Free tier is the extended trial — 50k tokens and 5 builds per day, forever. If you need to evaluate Pro before committing, email us and we'll set up a proper 14-day trial.

What about educational or open-source discounts?

Both exist. Students get Pro free with a .edu email. Verified open-source maintainers get Pro at cost. Email us.
